Review: Revlon Photoready BB Cream SPF 30 in Light (Pale) Shade 010

Hola, niñas! Today, I'm going to review Revlon's PhotoReady BB Cream. As you guys know, I'm a huge fan of BB Creams but this is the first time I'm reviewing a western BB Cream. So, I pick Revlon for my first try ;;)
I choose Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream in Light Pale shade, which is the lightest shade. I bought this for 85K from Revlon stand at Supermal Lippo Karawaci Tangerang. This BB Cream claims it:
- hydrates like a moisturizer
- smooths like a primer
- covers like a foundation
- blurs flaws like a concealer
- protects with SPF 30 like a sunscreen

Let's talk about that last part, SPF 30. Intriguing, considering many BB Creams released in the US have had a lower SPF. 30 is fairly good, not great, but definitely good. It remains thick and creamy without leaving behind a white cast. Nice one, Revlon for good sun protection, YAAAY! 

This is available in 3 shade selections. Light (pale), light medium, and medium are the colors you can choose from. BB Creams were created in one, two, sometime three shades originally in Asia and were meant to adjust the skin tone, but in the US market, BB Cream are just another variation of tinted moisturizer.

Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream is a water based formula which starts out with a thick, creamy texture. At first application, I really like how creamy it is. It actually morphs as you begin to rub on your face. The texture "bursts" and become thinner with watery feel. 

The light pale shade I choose is too beige but still fits my skin tone, not too bad. Coverage is light weight and very breathable. Wondering how did this BB cream deliver? Scroll below and see my pics.

Pros:
- has a good packaging, with silver color look more elegant
- has a transparent spot at its package, it helps you to choose the color
- the price is cheaper than Asian's BB Cream like Etude, Tony Moly, or The Face Shop
- give you natural look like you didn't wear any BB Cream (light enough)
- has good sun protection with SPF 30

Cons:
- the oil control isn't great (don't available for oily skin)
- has a bad scent for me (smell like sunscreen)
- not give a lasting power
- not enough coverage

Who might like it?
- People who fit in 3 color spectrum
- People who looking for a good tinted moisturizer
- People with near perfect skin
- People who love the sunscreen's smell

Who might not like it?
- Fair-skinned people with warm undertones or dark skin tone
- People who have blemishes that need concealing
- People looking for a high coverage BB Cream

MERMAID MAKE UP LOOK [RECOMMEND FOR PARTY]

Hello beauties, it's me again, Riztrya :) mumpung ada waktu luang dan lagi nemu inspirasi, buat beauties yang sering pergi ke party (birthday party, costume party, halloween party, etc) mungkin make up tutorial ini bisa jadi inspirasi buat kalian ya hihi. Actually, this is my first time doing a make up tutorial, so..................maafkan kalo masih berantakan dan comes out not very well HAHAHAHA but i hope you guys enjoy this tutorial ;)
MERMAID MAKE UP TUTORIAL :
1. Gunakan make up base terlebih dahulu. Disini aku pakai PONDS WHITE BEAUTY TRANSLUCENT PINKISH WHITE DAY CREAM. Aku baca di salah satu blog Indonesian Beauty Blogger bahwa Ponds ini cocok sebagai make up base juga. Dan setelah aku pakai ternyata cukup nyaman karena bikin kulit ku yang sangat kering ini jadi lebih lembab hihi ^^
2. Gunakan BB Cream andalan mu. Aku pakai TONYMOLY LUMINOUS GODDESS AURA BB CREAM. BB Cream ini sudah pernah di review sama writer Natalia di blog ini ya :) (bisa cek archive kita untuk review nya)

Jangan lupa untuk gunakan BRUSH saat mengoleskan BB Cream ke 

wajah kalian ya. This is my brush :)

3. Gunakan eyeshadow berwarna putih mengkilap di tulang pipi mu, pinggiran mata, hingga kelopak mata supaya tulang pipi dan mata mu terlihat lebih cantik dan mengkilap.

4. Pilih eyeshadow berwarna ungu (seperti yang ada di foto) di kelopak mata sampai ke dekat alis. Jangan terlalu tebal^^ kalau terlalu tebal nanti kesannya kayak abis ditonjok matanya ><

5. Pilih eyeshadow berwarna pink (kayaknya lebih ke shocking pink ya ini) lalu timpa eyeshadow ungu tadi dengan pink ini, sehingga warnanya akan menyatu.

6. Gunakan eyeshadow berwarna baby blue untuk memberi kesan 'aquatic' pada mata kita. Well, mermaid kan hidup dalam air ya ceritanya hahaha so make up nya harus diberi kesan Aquatic supaya lebih hidup hihihi.

7. It's time to draw your eyeliner! :) Mermaid looks ga butuh eyeliner yang terlalu tebal apalagi dibentuk sayap panjang yang berlebihan. Cukup buat eyeliner mu terlihat lebih natural. Boleh pakai sayap asal jangan terlalu panjang sehingga tetap terlihat natural. :) aku masih pakai eyeliner gel dari SilkyGirl yang sudah pernah aku review sebelumnya :)

Done for the eye make up! So, this is the result for the eye make up :)

8. Gunakan blush on berwarna soft pink supaya pipi mu terlihat lebih sweet :) gimana pun juga dengan blush on pipi kalian akan terlihat lebih indah dan senyum kalian lebih manis *awww :")

9. Terakhir! Sebagai lip make up, aku memilih lip tint TONYMOLY MINI TINT CHERRY, selain bentuknya yang kecil, aku suka warna merahnya yang sederhana tapi cantik :) lip tint ini juga bisa tahan seharian walau kalian makan dan minum loh:) oh iya, harganya juga cukup murah ;D

Reviews: Skin Care and BB Cream Samples

Good Evening Gals^^ 

So, holiday is over, and tomorrow I'm going to start my activity as a university student again. I couldn't believe that I'm a 3rd year student now. *sighed* time flies so fast... 

But I'm here not for complaining about my study. I'm here to review some samples that I bought and I get for free early this month from Intens Corner. 

Tadaaaaa: 

Yes there is Lioele Beyond Solution, but I wouldn't review it now. Fyi, I purchased my Lioele Beyond Solution for only 100K! Yes dear, you didn't read it wrong. 100K for the full size. I wish I had more money because there were a lot of sale products that were very eye catching. 

So now let's review ALL the samples :D

1. Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence Sample in 1ml. 
This product is amazing! Not sticky, supple skin, brighten my dull skin in just few days, lighten dark spots, no fragrance at all, and it suit oily skin. However the only one problem is... the full size is pricey. *sighed* I think I'll repurchase this one. One sachet like that is only Rp. 3500. I can buy it a lot :D One sachet could last 2-3 days. love it so~ much :D

2. Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Sample in 1ml.
I also love this one. This serum isn't fragrance free but the smell isn't that annoying. the consistency is gel-like but a bit runny. This product really suit my oily-acne prone skin. I apply this serum on my acne at night, and it heals my acne :D one sachet of sample could last few days :D love it! Gotta repurchase this :)

3. Etude House Nutrifull Shea Butter Cream in 1ml.
This cream is very rich. Anyone with dry skin will love this cream because it moisture and supple your skin. It has a very good fragrance and the consistency is a very thick cream. I recommend this for those with dry skin because people with oily skin will find it too heavy. It's really hot in summer and when I use this product my face became very oily.

4. The Skin Food Watery Berry Serum in 1ml.
I don't find this serum really special. It has a very nice fragrance and the consistency isn't as gel-like as Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum.

5. Innisfree Eco Science Wrinkle Spot Essence in 1ml. 
I use this as eye cream and it is very moisturizing. It gives you cool sensation and the fragrance is very refreshing. It helps my dark circle, but I don't see it gives a very significant impact. It could last days because I only use it as eye cream :)

6. Missha Choboyang Toner and Emulsion in Travel Size 5ml.
These are oriental herb skincare products that I try and I have to say that these products are Daebak!  Yes, I love them! Even though these products will suit those with normal to dry skin, I found it really suit my skin condition. They don't break me out. The scent is a bit strange because they smell like herb medicine.  The consistency of the toner is quick-absorb gel-like consistency, while the emulsion is a very light cream that is not sticky. The full size of both products are pricey.

7. Missha Complexion Coordinating BB Cream Beige in 1ml.
I was afraid that this bb cream wouldn't suit my skintone, however, this could match my skintone very well. This BB Cream has very high spf, 43spf/pa+++. It claims

"Flawless Skin Complexion BB Cream to create a sleek skin correcting flaws."

It has medium coverage, so it doesn'y really cover my blemishes. It doesn't break me out, but I just couldn't stand the whitecast and the glowy effect.

8. Etude House Cotton Fit BB Cream W13 in 1ml.
I fall in love with this BB Cream at the very first sight. It last all day, waterproof, sweatproof, great coverage, matte finish, good oil control, SPF30 and doesn't break me out. I have to buy the full size.

Review: Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream (SPF 37 PA++)

Lately, the trend of BB cream is happening especially in Indonesia. BB Cream indeed proven that could cover pimple or acne marks such dark spot, that sometimes interfere our looks. However, choosing the BB Cream is not easy because we need to know what kind of BB cream is suitable for our skin. And, my choice fell on BB Cream from Tony Moly because you need to know this product is good for all skin types. Furthermore, the Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream only cost IDR 145.000. Not only is it inexpensive, but the quality of this BB cream is said to be outstanding!

Previously, I had tried the product BB Cream from Etude (Etude House Precious Minerals BB Cream All Day Strong) and Maybelline (8 in 1 BB Cream, no.1 Fresh) but I really fell in love with BB Cream Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura. Just like FaceShop and Etude, Tony Moly also sells beauty products from Korea. Goddess Aura BB Cream gives glowy effect on our face. Well, I could not wait to review this product any longer. Here we go!

THIS IS IT!

This is what the BB cream looks like. It has a fairly thick consistency.

I started blending them into my skin, I found that Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream also had a lot of moisture in it.

Coverage: 4 / 5

This BB cream offers medium coverage. If you have small pimples or acne scars, it covers them pretty well. It covers my skin redness pretty well but not my pimples redness. Just put the BBcream fairly. If you apply another coat it will look cakey. So, don't do it! I recommend this BBcream to fair skinned people :D

Spreadability: 4 / 5

The texture is pretty creamy and it does look thick. I thought it would be hard to spread but it's not that bad. First, I spread the product on the back of my hand by rubbing it, then I apply it on my face by dabbing it and I blend it with my fingers. I don't use any foundation brush, nothing blends BBcream better than my fingers (?)

Finish: 4,5 / 5

It's a semi-matte finish, but you can always set it with a matte powder. I like it because it looks really natural, it's not too matte nor too dewy, it looks like your natural skin glow. I just tried to highlight my face:p

Overall: 5 / 5

I am definitely not disappointed by this BBcream ♥ I like how it doesn't completely mattify your face, it keeps your skin moisturized without oiling it up. I recommended this product to people with dry or oily skin who want natural glow on their face. THIS BB CREAM IS AMAZING ^^

I found some functions of this BB Cream:

- anti-wrinkle, whitening and UV protection

- full coverage

- anti-darkening

- has the effects of soothing and moisturizing the skin

Pros and Cons

1. Pros

- has an SPF of 37 PA+++ which is great for outdoor activity

- easy to apply, smooth and blend into the skin

- very good coverage: conceals dark circles, pimples and redness very well

- good for oily

- smells good

- a little goes a long way! You only need a small amount to cover up your whole face

- affordable price (if compared with Etude or FaceShop's)

- camera friendly. TRUE FACT, LOL

2. Cons

- the opening of the bottle make the application a bit messy, the liquid comes out as soon as I remove the cap

- strongly fragranced; I wouldn’t recommend this product for people with sensitive noses

- not very suitable for those who have darker skin tone cause it has light shade (still okay with medium skin tone) 

For me, it really worth it to buy this BB Cream. Get it now, girls!
