Review: Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder

Hola, niñas!

Pada postingan aku kali ini, aku bakal ngebahas soal produk base baru keluaran Maybelline. Tentu kalian semua pasti sudah aware ya sama produk Maybelline karena Maybelline adalah salah satu produk drugstore yang gampang banget kalian cari khususnya di Indonesia. Aku beli ini di Guardian, seharga IDR 89K. Aku personally, bener-bener exciting setelah tau produk baru ini. Produk ini udah 4 in 1, terdapat moisturizer + sunscreen + liquid foundation + powder. Di pikiranku pertama kali adalah produk Maybelline ini akan membuat proses make up kita jadi lebih faster. Aku sendiri menggunakan shade N2 Ivory.

Oh ya, seperti biasa my review is my own and solely honest. Aku akan mulai reviewnya. 

Packaging

Kemasan foundation Maybelline ini cukup elegan. Aku suka banget penutup dengan desain setengah transparan. Produk drugstore ini terlihat lebih elegan dengan tutup seperti kaca. Ada nozzle tip dimana produk akan keluar ketika kita menekan botolnya. Setiap botol berisikan 25 ml.

Foundation ini mengandung SPF 50 PA +++ yang membantu melindungi kulit dari sinar UVA / UVB yang berbahaya. Maka produk ini sangat cocok untuk siang hari sebagai makeup dasar sehari-hari dengan perlindungan UV.

Application

Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder ini cair, bahkan bisa dibilang sangat berair. Sebelum diaplikasikan, kita harus mengocok botolnya dan menggunakan sekitar 2-3 tetes foundation untuk mengaplikasikan ke seluruh wajah.


Karena konsistensinya yang cair, aku merasa pikir akan lebih mudah untuk mengaplikasikan 1 tetes foundation tipis-tipis di seluruh kulit. Setelah itu, barulah tambahkan lagi jika perlu. Aku sendiri suka cara kerja produk ini karena bener-bener menyerap dan menyatu dengan kulit sehingga membuat kulitku lebih mulus. Oh ya, produk ini ringan dan tidak membuat wajahku cakey sama sekali.

Aku sarankan kalian pakai jari bersih untuk menerapkan liquid-nya atau buffing brush untuk membaurkan liquid powder ini ke kulit. Kalau kamu pakai make up sponge, maka si liquid ini akan menyerap produk lebih banyak bahkan jika kamu menggunakan beauty blender.

Produk Maybelline ini tergolong foundation ringan dengan powdery matte finish. Jadi ke muka juga sangat natural. Berikut fotoku sebelum memakai Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder:

Begitu banyak imperfections yang ada di wajahku. Setelah mengaplikasikan liquid powder, ini hasilnya:

Liquid powder ini memberikan efek mencerahkan cerah juga. Awalnya aku ngerasa kayaknya N2 Ivory bakal keterangan shade-nya di wajahku, tapi ternyata ngga. Produk ini menyesuaikan warna kulit kita sendiri.

Setelah pengaplikasian ini, pori-pori, garis-garis halus dan noda bekas jerawat juga kelihatan terminimalisir. Tidak hanya itu kulitku juga terasa lebih halus, lembut dan lembab. Tapi kalau untuk kantung mata, sepertinya butuh concealer ya.

Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder ini memberikan perlindungan UV yang sangat baik dengan SPF 50 PA+++ dan hasilnya juga matte finish. Jadi, aman buat kalian yang punya muka oily atau kombinasi. Bisa dibilang ini tuh foundation harian which is bisa dipakai untuk kuliah atau kerja.

Kalau kalian suka tampilan alami, kalian bisa coba ini. Kamu ngga perlu touch-up berkali-kali  karena cukup mengontrol minyak, menjaga kulit kalian segar terus dari siang sampai malam.

Cons

1. Tidak terlalu meng-cover kantung mata
2. Karena formulanya yang super cair, kadang membuat liquidnya belepotan di tangan

Review: MAC Matte Lipstick

Hi, niñas!
So today's review about high end lipstick product from famous brand; MAC Matte Lipstick. For those who loves makeup, MAC is certainly name of makeup brand that sound familiar. But, unfortunately a famous brand (in Indonesia especially), there are many fake products of its. Most people who doesn't understand the makeup will buy a fake product cause it makes they're cool. Of course the fake makeups will be sold at cheaper price. For them, the important thing is they used a MAC product without know the contents. Whereas in the fake makeup we don't know what it implies. If I personally, I don't want to make my lips damaged. I prefer not to wear lipstick rather than having to buy a fake lipstick. I would buy a local brand which has certain contents. I bought my MAC lipsticks around 275k at trusted online shop (here).

So let's start review them!



Here is the packaging

The shades

For the packaging of MAC lipstick looks elegant. From the outside to the packaging box wrapped with black color gives the impression of luxury and expensive.They are like bullets anyway lol.

When the cap is opened, it will show you the color of the lipstick. The MAC lipstick has a distinctive scent like vanilla fragrance.

FYI, Ruby Woo is Retro Matte finish and four else are Matte finish. Both of the matte finishes represented in the collection are flat, meaning that they shine very little, or not at all, on the lips, but the finishes aren’t the same. The Retro Mattes are more extremely flat than their regular Matte. IMO, the Retro Mattes also feels drier than the regular Mattes. It makes my lips a little “wet” and thick to me.

I would like to describe each shade of my MAC Matte Lipstick:

#1 Ruby Woo

 

Ruby Woo is vivid blue-red with Retro Matte finish which makes my teeth appear whiter :D. It has a very matte texture, not glide smoothly on lips. So if you have a dry lips, before you applied on your lips, you could put a lipbam first. There is no reason not to love this legendary Ruby Woo. Even it is blue-based red, it also looks stunning on them whose warm skin tone. Don't worry to wear red lipstick. If the color fits on you, it will help to brighten up your skin tone.



#2 Kinda Sexy

Kinda Sexy is neutral pinky-rose. It's one of the best-selling shades from MAC. I am a lover of nude lipstick although nowadays I like the bold lips. Other beauty bloggers say if Kinda Sexy is the champion of nude color lipstick. Kinda Sexy is well combine with the smokey eyes makeup.


#3 Please Me

Please Me is muted-rosy-tinted pink. It is a pigmented rosy pink. It has a beautiful matte finish so there are no shimmers nor any shine. Please Me seems has a different formula with Ruby Woo. It was not drying, even on my dry lips. Although when you see my lips on pic, seems to be completely dry, it's because I have not exfoliated my lips before wear lipstick. For me, Please Me feels a little heavy on the lips when 30-60 minutes application. After that though, it changed become light and not heavy anymore. Please Me glide easily on my lips without any tugging.



#4 Velvet Teddy
 

Velvet Teddy is matte deep-toned beige. MAC Velvet Teddy's texture is creamy and full coverage. Even nude lipstick but it's not too pale. When applied on the lips, it's really smooth, creamy, and immediately covered the color of your lips perfectly. I think Velvet Teddy will be great with dramatic eye makeup or thicker blush/contouring. Durability is also okay, after eating a bit faded but did not completely disappeared.



#5 Whirl

Whirl is dirty rose matte finish. This kinda shade is famous because of Kylie Jenner. Go search "Kylie Jenner Lipstick" on Pinterest or Google, Whirl is going to come out. It is a lovely warm brownish medium toned plum color that makes for a really soft daytime look pulled together. No shine or sheen whatsoever. You can wear this everyday with everything, with any makeup look. 

Pros:

• It's worth the price 
• Highly pigmented 
• Not cracking 
• Keeps my lips moist 
• Good coverage 
• Can last for more than 6 hours on my lips 
• Has many shades 

Cons:

•  In Indonesia, MAC has limited shades

Review: Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick (Just Peachy, Red Velvet, Cherry Bomb, and Carrot Gold)

Hola, niñas! In this post I'm going to review lipstick product.
 
To be honest of all the makeup stuff, I like to collect lipstick. Can't resist from a desire to buy XD. I've been quite a long time to buy this lipstick but it was going to review the now hehehe. This time, I would review Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick. Many bloggers are already reviewing this lipstick. In Indonesia, this lipstick is often sold out at the online shop, because beside the price is cheap, this lipstick gives matte finish and long lasting, according to some reviews of beauty bloggers. Cause of my curiosity, I am as a matte-lipstick-holic also curious want to try this lipstick. Wet n Wild is one of drugstore brand with affordable price. I bought it only 59k.

So, here are the pictures of Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick:

This lipstick has a black colored packaging made of plastic, with colored translucent cap that allows us to see the contents of the product without having to open it first. In my honest opinion, the packaging is horrible, fragile. I'm afraid crushing the caps. Make sure to put it carefully.

Lipstick can not go in at all so it can be seen partly from the clear lid. This is one that I don't like, because when I'm going to open or close the caps, the lipstick can struck the caps. It can damage the lipstick, make it looks like messy too.

 Just Peachy: light peach / nude pink (bestseller)

Red Velvet: bright cool cherry red with pink base

Cherry Bomb: blend of cherry color with smokey burgundy accents

Carrot Gold: true orange, just like color of carrot (my fav)

So, talking about the quality of this lipstick, I can say that I'm so happy with the results. The color is bold and pigmented. The color isn't easily wiped. It give semi-matte finish. If you have a very dry lips, better for you to scrub your lips and use lipbalm first.

Review: CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation (SPF20)

Hola, niñas! Natalia is back in da town, yow. Okay forget it. To our lovely viewers, I'm going to review foundation product. First thing first, have you ever thought that you girls want to use foundation without feeling heavy on your face or cakey? Or maybe you have been fooled by some foundation product with detail such as "oil free" but you still the oil keep comin out. I bet you have. Taraaa, CoverGirl gives its best product at foundation. Actually CoverGirl foundation is very famous product because there are many beauty bloggers have reviewed and ranked CoverGirl foundation.

CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation has 14 shades. So, this can be used for everyone with every different skin tones. For the first try, I picked Medium Beige shade (842). I bought it 190k. And, here it is.................

The packaging made of glass, with a blue lid, pretty heavy but handy size. easy to use with those pump design. you can twist the pump to lock / unlock.

Liquid came out woohoo~

Talk about the texture. The liquid gives perfect melting. It will give matte finish after I blend it. It doesn't have a strong scent. This product finishes my face with medium coverage, lightweight, but still flawless.

BOOM! And this with CoverGirl. (Forgive the light anyway)

 And this is my face with some makeup products on for additional haha.. Because Covergirl providing plenty of shade, you might be able to test for a match with your foundation shade at www.findation.com, there you will be asked to enter the shade of foundation that you've used before, then immediately caught the shade that suitable for you with this CoverGirl.

Pros:

• Shade match my skin tone very well. CG has 14 shades. 
• Lasting power of primary. I used this from morning until noon, the oil doesn't flood my oil-prone areas. 
• Coverage of a concealer. It was able to cover all the blemishes on my face also dark circle which although not perfectly covered but it's pretty fair.
• Blendable. You can use the finger or other applicator such as brush or sponge. It's not cakey at all. 
• Shine free? Probably only the nose area 
• Matte Finish. Although the matte finish, but the dry area on my face keep moisturize
• Not breakout 
• With SPF 20 it gives the face protection of sunlight.
• The foundation will not be lost on the face, if it began to fade out, it will be glow in a good way, without reducing the strength for All-day-flawless

Cons:

• Hard to find because I've never find the store / counter of CoverGirl in Jakarta 
• You can find at online shop but this is the one of preorder product

[REVIEW] NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

It’s been so long I didn’t post anything on this blog, I’m finally back again, admin Natalia. On this post, I’m going to review a product from USA’s brand, NYX. Certainly we all are know about this brand. And, I’m tellin’ you I’m one of the big fan of NYX. Most of my makeup stuffs are NYX. You should know first why I love NYX. It started when I saw one of its lip coloring products. This is not a lipstick nor lip gloss, this is lipcream. I bought 85K IDR/pcs. Therefore, I will review NYX Softmatte Lipcream. If you are new to SMLC, here's a quick overview: This has a creamy formula applied using an doe-foot applicator, it has a great pigmentation, smells amazing (these have a soft vanilla scent XD), dry till it gives a matte finish, staying for 5-6 hours without fading. Anyway, I have six shades, they are: Antwerp, Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, Monte Carlo, Milan, and Buenos Aires. Name of those shades was took from the name of city around the world. Creative! ;p

Buenos Aires : light orange coral

Pros

• highly pigmented
• easy to apply
• long-wearing
• scented
• travel-friendly
• smooth

Cons

• not moisturizing
• it definitely won't stop me to try more colors (addicting) T__T HA
